Beginners Tactics for Pai Gow Poker
July 30th, 2022 by Holden

Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the casino, not like most other poker games that players bet with other players. By playing against the dealer, starting players do not need to fret about any other, more knowledgeable individuals winning their moolla.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game pace, newcomers should be able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty choices.

It’s also simpler to wager on for an extended time with basically a tiny bit of cash seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be under each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the dealer is dealt seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and one two card hand must be made from the seven cards, the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
